Firewall for Windows millenium

Hi,

Can anyone please tell me of a reliable firewall for Windows Millenium?

Also, can you tell me of any tell tale signs that computer has been hacked into cracked or whatever the terminology is.

zone alarm or comodo are both reliable firewalls and both are free to download

to see if your pc has been hacked check out the security and spyware / malware sections of this forum , there's enough free software to download to keep you reasonable protected
you will need an anti virus/ spyware / trojan scan

Albertross, thanks for the link. There are lots of versions. If I use a really old version, does that mean it won't be able to cope with the new viruses out there?
