Hi so I think this offer sounds amazing - getting 5% interest is nice!
Anyway, I can understand that TSB customer service is awful. I went into the bank today and my queries didn't get answered - I was told the interest would be paid into my account every month. This seems too good to be

    :j

I'm sure the customer service person answered your questions correctly. However, if you asked the wrong question , you cant expect them to read your mind. As my mum would have said , you ask a silly question, you get a silly answer.

Every month I move 500 from my Lloyds current account into my sole account, then a day later back to Lloyds, this is repeated for the other two accounts - all done via standing order.

Every month we get about 6 or so pounds from each account I interest which is subsequently moved on to another high interest current account with Tesco.
You could move the £500 from Lloyds to TSB1, £500+interest from TSB1 to TSB2, £500+interest*2 from TSB2 to TSBjoint, whatever's left over after allowing for bills from TSBjoint to Lloyds, all on the same day.

    Good question

As it's all done on standing order, just to avoid any problems in the fluctuation across the accounts, no other reason than that.

Call it me being quirky...there's nothing I've read on the T&Cs or banking codes that have influenced this at all.

True, fair point, also answered similar response from colsten.
