Nationwide Credit cards to gain contactless

I noticed that Apple pay is enabled on nationwide credit cards. Recent Android pay announcement says it will be available on "eligible nationwide debit cards". I wen and asked via online message whether physical contactless technology will be enabled, and I have received a response back:

I can confirm that the Contactless facility will be introduced to our credit cards commencing January 2017.

Now let's hope they introduce a cashback inventive for the contactless for a Select card above the normal 0.5% for sterling purchases. ��

Considering they will be providing the 0.5% at a loss - I wouldn't get your hopes up
