Thanks again everyone! This morning we received another letter from them demanding payment. Pretty convenient of them to state a date of payment which was yesterday! Don't make a slightest bit of difference as they arn't getting a penny from us! So today I'll be printing out the blue format letter from the sticky and adding in I want the camera logs for the day and that the ANPR is not fit for service, plus anything else I can beef it up with. Will be fighting this tooth a nail as we know we weren't there all day! Unfortunately all I did was come home that day but the logs will show that! Also contacting Aldi.
    Thanks for your help everyone!

You need to pinch this in the bud quickly otherwise more letters will arrive.

You require the logs of the ANPR for that day. Parking eye will probably ignore you and then you can SAR them.
You are asking them to prove their claim remember

Yes I've got the letter typed up and ready to send, just need my partner to sign it as its in his name as owner of car, and he's not home till 6pm, I was the driver and my name is not mentioned. Will be sent first class recorded in the morning. We are demanding proof of the ANPR logs for that day.

OK, but post it as normal requesting a free receipt (proof of posting) from the Post Office so you need to use a Post Office.

Reason being that some PPC's will not accept recorded delivery which are signed for

No, don't sign it, and don't send it recorded because if they refuse to accept it they then have proof they did not receive it. Sneaky barstewards.

Sign with a squiggle and send first class from a Post Office and ensure you obtain a free proof of posting.

Why are you posting a letter to PE? And certainly not recorded. Do not even use snail mail! NONONO.

You submit a PE appeal online on one page, with attachment if you have a receipt, etc. Add the fact that the car visited twice (give approx times but not your name as driver). Done in 5 minutes tonight and then they can't pretend it has not been received.

Just get a screenshot before your OH hits 'submit'.

As for the Aldi complaint, that is also done online. Both dead easy to find on Google: 'Aldi contact us' and 'ParkingEye contact'.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi everyone, again thanks for all your valuable advice. It's been cancelled! I contacted Aldi customer services and explained to them what had happened on that day, gave reg and the ref number, they then looked into it and immediately came back to me to say there was a massive discrepancy and it's been cancelled. I'm so very relieved but made sure they knew that Parking Eye are scammers (I quoted the amount of time it took each letter to get to me, over a week for both and the dates for payments had passed before I received them!)..

Anyway I can finally breath and glad this is off my shoulders! Thanks again!

PS I didn't even get to print out or send any letters :)

Good news; but you'll still need to wait for the cancellation letter from PE.

Yes they say 28 days and if I don't receive it by then to contact them at Aldi again. I took the ladies name and have a Ref number so it can be bought up in their system :)

Parking Eye need to have a good slapping, they have been a law unto themselves for far far to long now.
PPCs say its carpark management, BPA say its raising standards..... we all know its just about raking in the revenue.
