Will I get Santander 123 cashback paying at Tesco with PayQwic?

Hi MSE Forum users,
I wonder if anyone can help me. I'm a Santander 123 Credit Card user and currently receie 1% cashback on all my supermarket spend. I've recently been asked by Tesco to trial their new PayQwic app, which allows you to use your phone to pay for your shopping (and collect clubcard points) in store. What I am wondering is whether Santander will recognise these payments as normal supermarket/Tesco purchases and apply the cashback as normal? Has anyone had any experience with this?

Very unlike to, I dont believe they even recognise online shopping, so very unlikely for them to recognise shopping via an App.0

Given it stores your physical card digitally in the app wallet I'd imagine you'd attract 1% cash back at Tesco.It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0
