Evening everyone
my brain seem a to be a little mushy so perhaps someone can answer my question.looking on property websites it gives prices paid in the past, with council houses is the price quoted on the website the price paid with or without the discount that was given, hope I've explained myself thanks.

Discounted sales don't usually show in land registry data

It's the price actually paid, which may or may not be after a discount has been applied.
  • The actual sale price from the council does not show up on land registry.

However, when the house is sold after the years that you have to stay( before having to pay back some of the discount) have elapsed it does show up.

    Hope this makes sense
  • As we do lots of RTBs I was a bit embarrassed not to know the answer ...

So went back over a handful of cases up to 2 years since RTB acquisition and no figures are being picked up - so I presume they are suppressed by Land Registry (as below market price sale) so as not to distort local value stats.

The next sale on open market will obviously show as Mr Cautious says.
