All sounding good and very organised PF.

    Remind me of LPDF?

It's my loan pay down fund :D I must confess to stealing the term from foxgloves but anything extra I have I put to this to paydown the loan. We've currently paid 42% of the loan off in one year. Our LPDF has equated to just over the same amount as a repayments we have made so it's definitely been worth doing.

Another busy weekend here, a few spends too but all planned and mindful and money in the right pot.

DH and I both needed new trainers to run in. DH had been making do with a non specific pair and I have had my current ones for probably 5 years or more. So we ent back to the specialist running shop and got a pair each. Gulp, not cheap but price per wear is low and well worth it to save injury.

We also bought a coat stand for the hall. Much considered purchase, paid for out of house pot. The end of our stair rail is now free and despite the stand also in the Hall, it looks so much bigger already. Just need to plan when we are going to paint the stairs now. I'm due to be off a few days this week, I might not take them all but if I do have a day, I might at least start sanding.

I'm really keen to use some stuff in freezer and eat from home first to keep food spends down. I'm finally seeing some space. I used some Parmesan and anchovies from there today and DH and I ate a granola square each earlier. Dd has got a slice of quiche from freezer for lunch box tomorrow. Items in there will feature heavily on this weeks meal plan.

I've made one sourdough and have another on first prove, this one will go in freezer now we have space :o

I cleaned the microwave :o:o:o:o today too. I used half a lemon that had seen better days first and it was surprisingly easy :o like a new pin, considering it's 18 years old it looks surprisingly modern and whilst we don't use it regularly there is no point getting rid whilst its still working.

In my continued bid to use less plastic I've bought a reusable sandwich wrap, which is really good. will buy a couple more when funds allow. I've been thinking of other ways to reduce plastic use. So today I dug out my yogurt maker and pot and will make it at home (using live yogurt and UHT milk) and the portion it out into reusable pots.

Managed a run outside yesterday (time poor) and a run and some other stuff at the gym today :A

Small back to school tomorrow, where did that go

Electrician coming tomorrow too :T progress all roud it feels (apart from awol architect) will research submitting plans ourselves.

The electrician turned up when he said he would :T we now have 10 working lights upstairs and I can see in our bedroom after dusk for the first time in 3 years :rotfl: he has a bit to finish tomorrow but all good and efficient. When we've saved some more we'll get him back for a couple of better placed sockets and earth the last 3 lights and replace the kitchen lights. But all in due course.

Also called the carpet shop and have a date for carpet so I can now plan to order the furniture :T I also intend to swap my days off around so I can have a day or so off after the carpet is down to get the room straight once and for all.

More eating from what we have, chicken saltimoboca (sp) using Christmas palma ham that had been frozen and frozen mozzarella.

Used a different recipe for sourdough and it's come up quite big, hope it tastes ok :D

Have my first portion of yogurt making currently. Will check it before bed.

    Happy days :D

Oooh, PurpleFairy....you've reminded me I own a yoghurt maker thingy. V low tech, but it used to make nice yoghurt. Must excavate it from depths of cupboard & think about having another go. Glad you're getting on well with the sourdough baking. I am still making one every week, also a normal yeasted wholemeal loaf & a batch of cobs every fortnight. But I've also tightened up my healthy eating & made sure I know how many calories per gram!

So yogurt tastes nice, if a bit runny, so will work on that. Spends under control this week :D

Lights have been done and looking fab and have a date for our carpet fit. I feel progress happening :D

Need to look at how long delivery of furniture will take so I can hopefully get it delivered for when carpet is done so we can get sorted. Really want to book the day after off work to get sorted but have 2 meetings already in I can't move. It'll get done anyway, I'm just a bit impatient after this time.

I've sold my first item on fleabay in a while, must list more. I have a full bag to list. Money to LPDF, albeit small but all helps

Continuing to eat from freezer and see some space in there. When we have the extension, in the short term 2 of our 3 (don't judge me :o) freezers will not be available in the short term so I need to start to get used to just the one :rotfl:

Really must eat the frog on Monday and call the builder. Not sure why I'm procrastinating!

Gym and exercising going well, will do some more this weekend and keep the faith :)

Purps - I need to eat about 3 frogs on Monday too! Why DO we put this stuff off?
All my little ebay sales go straight to our LPDF too. I sold another magaxine this week & another small item sold overnight. Glad I decided to list it as it nearly went in the bin, but it was a manual for an appliance & I thought there might be someone out there who may have picked up that appliance 2nd hand without the manual, so gave it a go & it sold on its 2nd listing.
You are so busy with your house plans. We need major work doing but it will have to wait till I dig up a treasure chest in the garden.

So I ate the frog and called the builder. Got VM! I'm sure he'll call back at a time I can't talk but at least I've called. I'm working from home next Monday so I'll call him again then if I've not heard. Messaged architect on the off chance but no response.

Investigated submitted ourselves, doesn't look too bad and I'm sure I can google some of the jargon if needs be :o

Managed to get to mr t at the right time yesterday and I got some fruit pies, donuts and croissants for silly prices. All but donuts stashed in freezer :o

Tonight's tea is chicken curry using the sauce that came with my takeaway on Friday I didn't eat.

Furniture in basket online, just need to double check with hubby and then get a discounted voucher from work and I'll purchase.

Did a HIIT workout at home today watching utube on tv. Happy days for days when I can't make the gym and short on time.

Washed and dried 4 loads of washing today and another one will be on overnight and I'll be up to date. Smells lovely. Lots of windows opened today whilst wfh too :D

I really could do with some new causal shoes, my c0nverse have a hole in the sole but are just about wearable other than that it's flip flops and good recommendations for something in the middle?
