    Wow, there are some pretty intense people on here.

    The OP asked for organic sunscreen to prevent burning (i.e. one that works), not hippy dippy cream hand-milked from unicorns by elves!

    If in doubt about an organic cream, check with the company - how has it been tested? Just because something comes from Boots doesn't mean it's necessarily safe.

    That isn't the choice though, is it? He's chosen to opt for an organic suncream. I burn just hanging out the washing at 9am in April but organic suncream works for me. Why do people assume there are only two options - unpronounceable chemical-laden products or certain death from sun exposure? It's more than a little silly.

    Well, that's the two choices the OP highlighted - get organic sunscreen or burn - if there are other options they'd use, they haven't mentioned them.
