New build snagging not being done. Advice??

Hi all. I am wondering if anyone has any advice on what we should do as im losing patience and fast at the minute.
We bought a new build in Dec 15 amd were one of the first ones in. Not many have sold on the estate as it still looks like a building site.
Anyway... Like any new build we have a long list of snags that need completing but nothing has been done. The houses dont even have street numbers or a street sign.
The appliances that have been fitted are wrong and some dont even work.
The kitchen is falling the pieces and hasnt been fitted right.
After being in here for 2 months id had enough and emailed the company director. He agreed to come out and see me. He was surprised at some of the things he saw. One example was the carpet grippers were dangerous and had tore the back of her heal. He agreed it was dangerous and said someone would come straight out to fix it. Nobody came and we heard nothing for 2 weeks until she cut her foot again. All of a sudden someone was out the next day to resolve.
Last week my shower started leaking in the en suite when we used it and water was coming through to 2 rooms below. I emailed the company and they said as its bank holiday nobody could come fix it but they'll send someone round next week. We didnt use the shower but guess what. Not heard a peep from them. We now have water marks on the ceiling.
I was told the warranty will be with NHBC but we have not had anything to do with warranty. I am being told it ksnt actually with NHBC despite it stating it will be on the contract.
The builder is a small local builder and I am fed up if chasing. Nothing has been done and this is causing so much stress. 3 months on and upgrades we paid for still are not done, no snagging, kitchen falling to pieces, leaking shower, water stained ceiling... Iv just had enough.
Please can someone point me in the right direction ad I have had enough.
Kind regards

Is work still going on? Hoping they haven't gone bust and scarpered?0

If even the company director can't get stuff done, I'm not sure what you can do! Maybe write her one more letter saying if things aren't done within the next 2 weeks you'll go to the local media?0

Usually you go to the builders for the first two years, then NHBC. Although I am under the impression that NHBC only deals with structural issues.
I'd write them a letter detailing all the faults, how you want them fixed, how quickly you want them fixed and state you are copying the letter to your solicitor. If they don't do anything after receiving the letter then have your solicitor send them a stronger letter.
I'd go to the local press as a last resort.0 -
NHBC warranty wont cover this type of thing, waste of paperDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

I would write to the MD and tell him that if they don't resolve the issues by a certain date that you will contact local and national newspapers and tv stations.0
