    Thanks Tony & Pete - I do not use the card for purchases so that is not going to be a problem. The card is at zero balance at present.

    I would use it for a short period as having some building work done and am waiting for some money to come through which would pay it off (hopefully in the next month or two) so either using my overdraft facility which I have or using the offer of the credit card for a money transfer were my two options.

    Feel the money transfer maybe the cheaper option for 2 months. Say £2000 with a 1.9% transfer fee compared to my overdraft with would have overdraft fee and interest for upto two months.
