How much less gas and electricity?
Given that the past winter has been a lot milder than previous winters how much gas and electricity have you saved?
I've used the same electricity but used 13% less gas from October to the end of March, when I've had my heating on, compared to the same time in 2014 - 2015.

Significantly less.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Scottish Power very conveniently gives the one year consumption figure up to each statement.
Gas
1st April 2016 21,024.793 kWh
5th April 2015 22,166.250 kWh
Electricity
1st April 2016 4,589.243 kWh
5th April 2015 4,698.000 kWh
The following unit rates exclude VAT:
Gas
April 2016 2.162p (2.27p inc VAT)
April 2015 2.857p
Electricity
April 2016 9.843p (10.335p in VAT)
April 2015 9.977p
Due to the newly cheap gas unit rate, I notched the heat up to 22 degrees. The floor board starting shrinking, and gaps showed. My lips cracked open in sympathy. You can't win.0
