Neighbour wants access way path back? Please help!?!

I'm afraid I have to agree that you shouldn't have extended your garden into the shared path area.

I believe the neighbour with the illegal loft extension has invalid home insurance - this could be serious for you if she has a fire etc. that damages your property. I sympathise whole-heartedly about the neighbour noise - I have the same problem with an illegal loft extension and resulting stair noise next door. It's miserable. You need proper advice on what to do about her lack of action on the reinstatement.

Well if she moved in and you immediately started asking her what she was going to do about the attic room then she may have felt a bit put on the spot, and told you she didn't need the right of way just to keep the peace. I don't see why she needs to have a reason to change her mind anyway, but she's told you her reasons - because she ants to use it to take the bins out, and because it adds value to her property.
