After 3 days of getting out and sitting outside my front door and breaking in whenever it had been opened she has moved in.
Her and tomcat have had nose kissing and wandered off together
She has a blankie
Now called foxy
What a lovely happy ending (or beginning). I hope you'll all be very happy together.:)0 -
She's a clever little minx
Tomcat is still not integrated with my JRTS because he won't back down and they won't back down and we end up with a stand off.
Madam hissed at my girl, then looked at me went up to girlie and rubbed noses. They are now in love lol0 -

You'll probably find she continues to hit/bat at him for a good 6 months to a year - as she becomes an adult cat their dynamic will settle and they'll stop pushing at each other.
As long as she's not actively fighting with him (puffy fur, claws, blood), I'd suggest they're getting on fine.
Mine still sometime hiss when one of them's having a bad day - or she might just be a naturally grouchy mare...That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

As she just came on a walk with me and the dogs
And she isn't even slightly phased by my very bouncy girl I think she's fearless.
She's sitting on her blanket staring at me at the moment.
Tomcat was my mils cat so my OH is very protective of him and worries he will leave (he wont)0 -
If you don't already have one, try a plug in diffuser. I like the pet remedy ones, but others rate the Feliway0

She was waiting for me to get back from interview
She's come in and nose touched tomcat so today she's in love with him lol.0 -
They say cats prefer to pick their owners rather than us pick them, and it certainly is true in your case. I once had a similar scenario whereby a young Tom cat decided it wanted to live with us instead of its original owners down the road.
There was absolutely nothing we or they could do about it. He decided he was moving in and that was that :rotfl:
I already had a houseful of cats so an extra mouth to feed was neither here nor there. Thankfully his original owners were equally understanding and they eventually re-homed another cat from the rescue centre which fortunately stayed put with them lol0 -
Feral she certainly chose here, we had no say.
She's incredibly affectionate and hopefully tom will continue to be okay with her being here.
I will attempt more pics
Shame I couldn't get any initial ones as she was tiny when she first showed up0 -
