Anyone else find Gleam and Rafflecopter annoying?

I would rather chew my own arm off than enter a rafflecopter or gleam. Tons of spamming people by sharing many different twitter, fb accounts and usually for rubbish prizes. Dubious winners a lot of the time as well, most bloggers themselves.

RC is ok, prefer gleam.

Ideally for me if all comps were entered through a gleam it would be great as it is a fair way of picking a winner..instead of a sob story

The one option I find irritating in a Gleam machine is the option to watch a video one a daily for extra entries! I mean who wants to sit and watch the same video (or sometimes two videos!!!) each day??? More and more bloggers seem to be adding this option. Fair enough - ask entrants to watch their video once but day after day? Surely no!

They both take a little while to enter, and Gleam is much quicker and easier of course but I do love them and have most of my wins from them I would say.

I had my biggest win to date via Rafflecopter, a Froothie blender which I love and use almost every day and just this morning I have won £50 worth of beautiful Alpaca wool. And many, many more wins too.

I leave the tabs open and at midnight I do the daily tweets or bonus entries to maximise my entries. Seems to work for me

I do! I just wonder why bloggers put watching the same video over and over as an option in the first place?

Recently I have seen more and more bloggers adding a daily option to 'watch a video' or 'click on this page to enter' on their rafflecopters/Gleams. I am not a techy expert but do bloggers get paid for the number of times their videos get viewed or for when entrants click on another page, whether it is on their blog or another site?

Just seems strange that there has been such a sudden influx of bloggers using these options?
