hi, sorry if this has been asked before but im getting conflicting advice
For the first time in 24 years of motoring ive had a bump, my fault, foster kids were arguning in the back and i reversed out of a parking space into the back of another car
i went into the shop to find the owner and there is a crack on their bumper, i didnt see it at first because the dirt was covering it
anyway it was obviously my fault but its only her car that is damaged. i have protected no claims and an excess of £350, its a new car so im guessing it will cost a bit to replace the bumper. so heres my question
if we go through the insurance do i pay my excess or do i only pay it if im claiming for damage to my car?
thanks

No you don't pay anything unless your claiming for your own car0
