Turned down for credit card

I have been turned down for a balance transfer credit card, although the eligibility checker said I had 95% chance of being approved. I haven't tried any other cards because I don't want them all showing up on my credit file. I only wanted £3000. My son said he would take it on for me and I would pay him, but I don't know if this can be done. Anybody any ideas if I can do this with my son or, if not, any other ideas??

You can do it but it would then be your sons debt0

Might be worth your time obtaining your £2 report from Experian and your free credit reports from Noddle and Clearscore to see if everything that's being reported is correct. It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0

Try appealing the decision with the bank/CC company itself. Send them copies of your Credit report and query the reason for declining if you does think you have any credit unworthiness.
