If you use Haifax online banking you'll notice a small plus which you can click for additional information it shows there's a pending transaction of £250.
I tired to deposit £250 into a site on the 17th but it was declined the first time so I tried again and it was accepted, £250 was taken from my account last week but this pending £250 hasn't resolved itself.
I called the bank but they say they can't do anything until the money leaves my account but it's annoying me because I want it resolved and it's made my available balance £250 lighter.

Halifax cant release the funds from pending status, only the company concerned can, that said if its not 'claimed' by 10 working days it will return to your account and available balance.
The date is the pending transaction is 17th, this will be back in your account by Monday 4th. It will take slightly longer due to the bank holidays not counting as working days but it should correct its self by MondayI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Banking & Borrowing, and Reduce Debt & Boost Income boards.
