Not that company in particular, but that would be normal practice. I've had someone attend my home once or twice, it's normally very well paid. Just check that you're not doing it or free! I received £60-£80 for the last one I did.

Thanks very much. Just want some reassurance before giving out my personal info! There is a rather generous incentive attached, so I'm keen to do it.

Thought I'd let you all know that some of the offer wall offers are total scams so watch out. I've just had a text saying I'm being charged 4.50 per day for something I've never signed upto or not by my own knowledge anyway

Go for it! I love doing those kind of one-to-one research projects. You feel like they really, REALLY value your opinion. Particularly if they are bothered enough to come to your home.

Generally steer well clear of offer walls. Particularly if they want personal details. Get a PAYG SIM if you really must do them (or ahem, make up a number).

I'd call your phone company and get that number barred. Maybe someone else will know if you can reclaim fraudulent payments that have been taken in that way.

  • I've just had a Harris Interactive poll about bills and advertising collate lots of information before screening me out. If you answer "no" to the "do you have a relative over 75" question, just quit there and save yourself some time.

Like others have said, never give your real number, email or address for these offer wall things.

For things that want to send you a verification code I use https://go-text.me/ - it gives you a free mobile number for which it is free to receive messages, and I've never used it to send messages, but you get credit to do so by receiving them and/or doing small tasks (like watching videos etc I think - a bit like swag bucks).

Just after some advice. I did a Bose survey via swagbucks a few weeks ago, and have now been sent a seperate email from Bose asking me to participate in a 2 hour interview session in my home next month. They've asked for my address and contact details, which I'm reluctant to provide.

Has anyone had any experience of doing these type of interviews with Bose?

    Thanks in advance.

No experience but as a company Bose very legit. I am aware that they are doing mass market research and they do pay well. They also were asking for people to test products which you will probably get to keep. I owned up to already being a Bose owner they did not contact me......pity:(

    http://blog.uk.swagbucks.com/2016/05/daily-surveys-are-moving.html
In our continued efforts to make survey taking as efficient and rewarding as possible, your Daily Surveys are now included in your Gold Surveys list. They will no longer appear on the upper right hand side of your Gold Surveys Dashboard. Your Daily Survey(s) will now be featured in the list of surveys on your Gold Surveys Dashboard. As a result of this change you will potentially have up to three Daily Surveys per day from our multiple market research partners.
This change will go into effect by end of day on 4th of May, 2016. If you’re still itching to find out which surveys are those offered by our Daily Survey providers, you will still be able to find your Daily Surveys by identifying the date in the Survey Number. For example, on 4 May, a Daily Survey Survey Number will be 20160504X. That’s 2016 for the year and 0504 to denote the month and day.
We hope this change makes your Answer experience a better one.
