String it out as long as you can.
If it wasn't defaulted till July, then the cause of action date was probebly a good few months prior to that.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Are they able to commence court action if it is SB - as in whilst it's in debate with me querying stuff with them?
What is a tamperproof signature?
All you need do is type your name instead of signing the letter. This is to stop them photocopying your signature and transplanting it onto another document. Something DCA's have been known to do."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". But as you say, they could start a court claim and try to make out that the claim is not SB until July. I think that would be an incorrect interpretation but you are not sure of your dates.
I don't think you need to engage with them just because of that letter and I would hang on to see if you can get past July.
If they do start a court claim then use legalbeagles for help to do CCA and CPR requests and a statute barred defence.0 -
Thanks. I shall post their next letter as and when if that's ok with you guys. Good evening all0
