Is this quote fair? (Plastering)

Hi all,

I have some exposed brickwork on chimney stacks in two rooms needing to be boarded up and then plastered over. They are both 7 foot high; one is 22inch depth/30inch wide while the smaller one is at most 20inch wide/16inch depth.

I have been quoted for all the works including materials @ £900

This is a house located in Essex.
Does this seem like a fair quote?

    Why boarded ?
It would be better bonding plastered and over skimmed, if the room is warm enough a good plasterer will have it done easily in the day, materials about £50.
I do Contracts, all day every day.

Dry lining is much quicker drying out than bonded plastering. The quote smells of "London pricing"
