It's a representative APR, not the one for all customers.

But still pennies whatever the rate, even at 50% it's still only 14p per day per £100.

We use the Clarity card for all uor shopping and cash withdrawals whilst abroad. We pay in slightly more than the cash withdrawn straight away and pay the remainder when the statement comes through. No problem and almost no interest.
I have also arranged for a payment to be made a few days after arriving abroad before we leave, see your bank about deferred payments.

    Indeed.

The highest rate is 6p-7p per £100 per day.

    Don't panic!

Well, I just was being pedantic.
At 1.95% p.m. it's getting close to what most debit cards charge for conversion. Without extra/early payments the cost of a withdrawal can get as big as ~3.5%
