Best Rewards Card

Hello,

I currently do the TSB 5% cash back on contactless purchases, and then once I've spent the £100, I spend on my Barclaycard for there Freedom Rewards points.

My question are there any other/better reward schemes for cashbask/point bonuses on any cards

Thanks
James

    Debit card wise TSB

Halifax Clarity Credit Card gives £5 on a £300 spend a month if you have a Halifax Current Account. Just clear your credit card before due date to not pay interest.

Credit Cards there are Nationwide Select with 0.5% cashback and no fee, Natwest Reward 0.5 to 1% cashback and sometimes more with variable offers but £24 annual fee which is waived if you open a Reward Current Account. Finally, AMEX have some good intro offers on their cashback cards. Check the T&Cs though.
  • If you have a Lloyds or Halifax account with a debit card, activate the offers in online banking - sometimes they do 5%, 10%, or 15% cashback in places like Morrisons, Argos, and Waitrose.
  • As you have the Barclaycard Freedom - why not ring up and ask them to upgrade you to the Barclaycard Amex and Visa Cashback Duo? Only a little cashback but still better than nothing.
    EMERGENCY FUND £1644.03 / £3000 (55% SAVED)
    CAR FUND £1200 / £1200 (100% SAVED)
  • Is the cashbask of the Dual Card worth more £4£ than the points?

Isn't that only if you have the fee-paying Halifax current account?

    Thanks.

I haven't been using my Clarity card in the UK but happen to use it to spend ISK online this month. I received new T&Cs from Halifax this week and noticed the £5 cashback so transferred an additional £250 (to make it a total of £1,000). Then I re-read it and it specifically mentioned the fee-paying account so I assumed that I wouldn't get it.
