more faulty sky+

so... we decide to get sky+ thought it would be a good idea. engineers come today and fitted it and everything. i was told to leave it for 10 minutes when they left.

after about 15 mins i went to try it and gues what the remote doesnt work!!! the engineers tested it coz i saw them using it, i tried it myself but its very very difficult to get it to work, it has to be in a particular angle in the room and even then it doesnt work very well so its either the remote or sensor... and now i feel 'spoofed' as they must have known it wasnt working right but couldnt be bothered with it

i called customer services but i couldnt understand a word of what the guy was saying (foreign) he asked me questions and i was so mad.. i clearly told him about the remote problems, but he didnt understand me either i just wanted to slap him in the face!!

final note: always check the basics before the engineers leave.

is there any phone number i can ring where someone can help me out, particulary ENGLISH!

thanks

Maybe not as simple as a faulty remote, have you tried the buttons on the box? Do you have a friend or neighbour who can lend their remote to try?

we got sky+ last november and i've had the box replaced 3times allready.

it's !!!!!!ed up several timestoo, but switching it off at the wall and leaving for 10mins normally resets it.
