Hi there
Looking at booking a multi city flight, Manchester - San Francisco (overnight in Copenhagen), San Francisco - Las Vegas, Las Vegas - Manchester via Copenhagen.
I am looking at flying with SAS, however, they do not offer a multi leg ticket, instead I would have to book a flight to CPH, then a sort of return from there.
I spoke to them today, she confirmed that I would be put on the next flight if there was a delay etc back to Manchester.
However, I have since checked Expedia, they offer a multi leg, starting and returning to Copenhagen, I can then book a return to Copenhagen separately. Does anyone know if I would have the same protection in the event of delays/cancellations etc?

You'd be relying on the goodwill of the airline.0

Not sure when you are planning your trip but today Virgin Atlantic announced a new direct MAN/SFO service to commence in 2017.

The airline is only obliged to get you from A-B-A, I have no doubt that SAS would hook you up if things go wrong on your separately booked connection if it is with SAS.
Add another airline (Ryanair for example) to the fray and then it is highly unlikely. Just allow time.0 -
I found GOT and OSL both worked out cheaper than CPH on a similar routing. With the savings made and building in plenty of delay time it's a calculated risk worth taking for me but any flight can get delAyed although most won't be.
Part of my cAlculation would be the possibility of weather delays in Scandanavia in the winter so I'd probably look at DUB SFO fares for that time of year insteAd.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
