Good Afternoon

I have had a lot of credit cards and loans in the past and was going to be lazy and use a claim company to do the investigation, however as I have had an IVA apparently they can not help. They suggested that I contacted the companies directly.

I have seen on previous threads about sending a SAR but I was wondering if anyone had just sent a letter asking whether PPI was paid on old accounts? I am not keen to send SARs to a whole load of companies if I didn't pay PPI on them.

Any advice or letter templates welcome :-)

Just ring up the likely financial institutions and ask in the first instance.

Do note that even if you find you had PPI, the banks will be able to offset any monies written off as part of your IVA.

This is why the Claims Company you contacted refused to take your case.
