Problems with Thomas Cook flights?

Does anyone know if any problems with Thomas cook airlines??
i'm very nervous at the moment as I have booked a flight to dalaman for myself and my son with them, but when I gave my flight details to the owner of the place we are staying in, he said that many of his visitors had had flights cancelled by Thomas cook in the last year. When I booked the flight the website was appalling, my personal favourite being that if you were a woman you had to put yourself down as mrs! when I phoned the helpline the next day complaining about this and asking for it to be amended, they said they were aware of the problem and that any female over 12 had to go down as mrs! on further questioning it turned out that this problem had been going on since November and they hadn't got round to amending it as there were loads of other problems they were prioritising instead. as you can imagine, none of this was very reassuring. there is clearly something very wrong going on at Thomas cook and im really regretting booking my flight with them. is anyone aware of any issues with them and any advice about anything I can do?

A lot of charter flying to Turkey has had to be consolidated due to lack of demand. Thomas Cook are not alone in amending their flying programme but have perhaps been overly impacted given the size of their holiday programme to Turkey.

FYI, we are flying to Dalaman with Thomson in May and although the flight has not been changed it seems they have downsized the aircraft operating the flight.

There have been reports on various forums about changes and consolidation. Most I have seen seem to be for Antalya. You can check your booking on line under Manage My Booking, so I would suggest you check there to see if there has been a change and perhaps check every so often.

With regard to the "Mrs." Prefix - might be something to try to get over and shrug it off. You might find it annoying but is it worth getting wound up about?
