Donor account turn around time

I suppose this is more of a success story thread than anything else.

With the end of CB/YB £150/2% switch TOMORROW
and the end of M&S £100 and £10 a Month TUESDAY

What is the quickest time people have managed to:
1) Open donor account - Who, When, How, etc
2) Set up required DD's - Did you wait for first payment, Wing it, Cross fingers and close eyes hoping for the best, etc
3) Complete switch application with desired bank - Which bank, Did you start the process on endday BUT select a late switch date to help with DD's, etc

I'm probably too late for the CB/YB deal anyway so this so this more just for a bit of fun...and braggers right.
