Hi,
Has anyone used Homeaway.com before? or have any other recommendations for holiday apartments?
Looking to book Spain / Portugal next year on the "cheap" and someone said to try booking an apartment and then flights instead of going for a package deal

Booking.com has apartments on it, pick one room and say 6 people when searching. Reviews are more reliable on booking.comPosts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

We were in Lisbon and Madrid last year and Porto and Barcelona the year before.
The missus used Holiday Lettings and AirbNB.
I was happy with all the places we stayed but the missus said in future she'd try to do it all using AirBNB.
Flights and accom always booked seperately in our case over many years.It's your money. Except if it's the governments.0
