                    Hello
I parked recently in Islington, London, outside my daughter's home. I displayed the requisite vouchers by putting them on the passenger seat (next to the pavement), clear to view. Got a £130 PCN ticket, presumably because I did not hang them on the inside of the car window.
I made an informal appeal by email, with photos of the vouchers easily visible. Later I received an email response telling me that my appeal was rejected. The reason given was just a generic one saying that I had parked illegally. So I paid the £65 half fee.
I was not aware of the requirement to hang the vouchers on the car window. There were other vehicles where the vouchers were displayed in the same way as mine, without getting a ticket.
I was fuming, and still am. This in an absolute scam by a parking attendant having a bad day.

I suggest you post this on pepipoo.com as they are the experts on council parking tickets. MSE is aimed at parking on private land.
I don't know if you can make a second appeal to get your money back but I'm sure the people on pepipoo will know.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. Maybe if you had come here before paying we could of given you some advice. But there is nothing you can do once you paid the PCN.
I would be interested though to know what T&C's were on the voucher relating to how to display it. To be fair I think just leaving it on the passenger seat rather than on top of the dash would not be compliant.PLEASE NOTEMy advice should be used as guidance only. You should always obtain face to face professional advice before taking any action.0
