  • £10 in amazon vouchers from surveys to add. None of my ebay items ending tonight have watchers so don't think anything else is coming in there.

Since I knew I was going to be busy this month (far too many dance practices & shows), instead of trying to make more money, I'm trying to save money. I'm not buying anything non-essential (currently only purchasing petrol, weekly shop and paying for ballet classes) but am keeping track of things I've seriously considered buying.

There's a few things I will buy at the end of the month (ballet shoes & pointe shoes) and I want to save up for a new kindle but there's plenty of others I can make do without (a new leotard, tights, hairspray, t-shirt, chocolate, bag of chips, lottery ticket) that I would usually rationalise as only being a few quid. It adds up quickly though!

Evening folks and welcome to the new peoples :hello:

It's been a really miserable, grey day here today, raining on and off all day and cold. I was going to do a little essential shopping but have delayed it - hoping it's better the morrow.

Felt really sorry for the guys trying to get the shows ready to open on Wednesday. Where I live, on the promenade, the Links Market is held every year - it's been going since 1304 !! but obviously changed a lot over the years. It's great watching all the coming and going for the ten days from when they arrive to set up, run for six days and then close down, pack-up and move out.

Finally got my pay out from Views of £13.22 and £2.00 made on surveys, so a total of £15.22 to add for the day.

Is it me or are the surveys getting longer, screening out more often and paying less ??

Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday

I'm glad you have more self control then me :p I told myself this month wouldn't be the month I spend on stuff I do not need, I then went to fatface over the weekend and I spent £40 on a hoody and £15 on flip flops  I'm learning though :p

Only just though! I have caught myself with my debit card in my hand ready to type my details into a site before closing down the page. I started last Thursday and it's going well so far, but then I haven't been out shopping to tempt me into buying much.
