What do you mean "finished"? I've never seen that. The Toluna ones can screen out a fair bit but normally in the first few questions. I got screened out of 2 or 3 today.

I had messages along the lines of this survey has ended alongside the usual screening out as you get on VO. Literally could not complete any and tried at least ten :(

Gambling transactions are seen as high risk activity. They won't appear on your credit file, as such, but will have a definite effect on mortgage applications, for example. A lot of banks block gambling sites for transactions and you have to have the card parameters altered.

Essentially if you are ever going to have to supply your bank statements to anyone, then I would not use that account for match betting :) There are alternatives to PP that the sites do accept but I am out of touch with MBing now.

Definitely worth knowing - thanks :)
  • So it's alright for Them to gamble with your money, but not for you to eh ? :rotfl:

    Quite! Lol

Ok i admit I played with matchbetting last summer. First thing, don't use your usual bank for it, they think you are moneylaundering and get all a%*al about it. Open a basic account with debit card and use that. It is better to be kept separate because if anyone queried you can show it is bookies bets. Don't use pp too much as they will fo same and close you for mobey laundering.

I use one basic account a lot of my pp transfers, into not so much out. Did ms with said bank and they had my statements and said awful lot off pp and i said yes I sell my old items on eBay and transfer funds to this account for savings. So yep they do take notice of activity on account

Ah ok will finish what I have going on and move to a new account for anything going forward, thanks :)

Trying to keep up with all sites and have to admit sometimes get a little frustrated with how long some take to payout and apart from neo.....could do with a day off and come back fresh tomorrow.

    Anyone else feel like that?

Lucky I get tips at work otherwise I would sometimes get nowhere with extra savings.

£6.50 tips to add for yesterday.

Does anyone here use Gifthulk. I have quite a few codes but I am reluctant to post them on the Gifthulk board as the same people always seem to get them on there and it would be nice to get a few back occasionally. PM me if you are interested

I found a referral on another site and signed up. Have now started a thread on here

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/70442599#Comment_70442599

First time I have started a thread so hope I have done it right. Nothing to add yet and I'm full of cold and have nasty cough again just in time for two weeks off work!

OH is really low at the moment too and DD is not much better so not a happy household :( Hoping today will be a better day. Actually I'm going to make it a better day. Got a couple of vouchers for days out with DD so I will book those and still have gift card for meal out with OH that I got for Christmas so will book that this week too. Hopefully something nice to look forward to will cheer them both up.

    Time for a lemsip!

That'sfabbut you need to put non referral link to site in post too, so people can look and/or sign up without referrals.
