Thank you :) I'm still thinking to myself," there must be a catch, there must be a catch somewhere"

My only concern is that once the books arrive they may turn and say sorry because of the condition of these books we will only be giving you £8, however none of the books are in a poor condition, all have obviously been read and have minor shelf wear but nothing I would consider to reduce the prices that they are paying! :rotfl:

You don't pay any postage :) they use myhermes delivery and they pay for it :) they send you via email or post a paid for label which you attach to the box and a delivery person comes and picks it up :) it's very easy and convenient. They don't buy all books but it's well worth downloading and trying! They also buy CDs, DVDs and games! :)

Well what an interesting day I have had.

I had some time to myself this morning so I went back through old 'boost your income' threads and found one on webuybooks.com, i don't generally go for sites like these as i know they buy to sell for profit which is what I do so I know i can make more than they offer, however books aren't my forte so i thought i'd read into it. Out of curiosity I downloaded the app and when i was at my parents house started scanning the codes of my mothers books, most are new so were coming in at £1/£2 each, she then told me that she mainly buys from a particular charity shop which do a deal on all books 4 for £2 so in theory I was doubling my money on most of the books.

I decided to pop over to said chairty shop and see what I could do, within 10 minutes of picking up books and scanning them i had 4 books for £2 which webuybooks.co.uk were offering a total of £8.40 for. So i bought them.

On the drive home I was thinking about ways to get books for free, then it hit me, I am active and well known on a fair few local Facebook selling groups so I pulled over and put up some posts asking if anyone was getting rid of any job lots of books for free which i could have for a 'project', within minutes a lady contacted saying she had been to her mums that day and picked up 'tonnes; of books she was going to take the the tip and i would be doing her a favour by taking them off her hands!!! I shot down to hers on the way home (which was on route and must have picked up about 400+ books! I scanned each and every one when i got home and racked my total to £20 on webuybooks.co.uk.

The other 350+ books which webuybooks wouldn;t buy are going in charity shop donation bags to my local salvation army which give me a £2 per full bag voucher to use in any one of their stores, i estimate i have about 25 bags full, so thats £50 worth. I haven't cashed anything in yet but in theory i've made a very quick £70 today!!! :T:T:T

Im going to deal with what books i have now but in the meantime will keep bumping my posts on the groups and see what comes up!! :j

When i woke up this morning i seriously didn't think i'd have thought up another way to make some extra money!!! :D:D:D

Has anyone had any experience with them? All the reviews I have read are positive!!

What a fab idea! And anything stops loads of books going to waste in landfill just has to be a win in my book! :)

I'd like to join please. It would be amazing to make £300 to pay towards my cc :)

I have a load of eBay stuff finishing today so fingers crossed it adds up nicely. I'm also trying to do surveys where I can

Azaaa you amaze me with your most resourceful ways of making money. Good luck with your book selling.

There are other books sites too you know not just them. Also there is usually a 10% extra code knocking around on the internet to get you extra dosh and don't forget cashback first.

The ones they rejected you could try other sites like zapper, ziffit, fatbooks, etc.

and yes they can and do reject books when received.
