Decent web cache for Firefox?

One of the things I used to like about IE was the web page cache.
I could visit this thread with one post and then visit it again after someone else posts and it gets its own cached page.
So with multiple visits you can get a timeline of any threads that have been altered because each visit gets its own saved page.
Can this be done with Firefox?
The history function in Firefox is awful compared the ancient versions of IE. Or that maybe just me?
