Holiday booking name change

I booked an all inclusive holiday Nov 15 for July 16 and recently had to change the name of one of the passengers. I have booked my holiday through Onthebeach.com and to change this name through them they have conjured up the fee of £350 to do this. However jet2 who I am flying with say it is £35 just for flights. I have contacted ABTA as I refuse to believe it costs this amount to just change one passengers name. Could anyone advise me on this?! I'm lost for words!!!:mad::mad:

This is complete nonsense, their own booking conditions state they will charge the suppliers fees plus £30 for themselves. That doesn't make it £350, go back and talk to someone who knows what they are talking about and have a copy of their booking conditions, they are on their website in front of you. This will also act as a reminder that for low cost airlines, it is usually cheaper and easier to book direct with the airline, although they do not offer low deposits which agents do in some circumstances.0

Exactly! It says on the website when changing it "travel suppliers charge - £260 & on the beach charge - £90" had my pants right down! I've screen shotted the quotes & sent them to ABTA hoping that will sort it. Otherwise I'm not sure where to turn!0

Jet2 charge £35 fee for name change for a single flight, as you have a return ticket you need to multiply this by 2 and, in addition, you will be required to pay the fare difference between the price booked at and the current priceHowever jet2 who I am flying with say it is £35 just for flights.:
Unless the accommodation needs repriced they are saying that the fare difference was £190 (£260-£35-£35)...have you looked at the current price of the flights compared to what you paid originally?0
