BT so poor

I have spent 30 minutes trying to get through on my phone and also on an online chat to dispute my bill. I have given up today trying to get through but I am fuming that such a massive company make it so hard to get hold of anyone.

My bill has gone up by £8 after cutting things back like caller display the month before so I a baffled why the price has gone up.

If you have the anytime unlimited call plan and call only numbers starting 01, 02, 03, 0500 and 080, there should be nothing more to pay.

Calls to numbers starting 07, 084, 087, 09 and 118 as well as numbers in Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man will cause a large increase in your bill.

Your bill will be itemised and will show you what the charges are for.

It's not hard to speak to someone from BT. Just call 150 from your landline. when it asks why your calling say to cancel and you will be put through to a uk based retention team.

Who then won't take the call as it generates queues for their team who are supposed to be doing another job entirely. That's if they are even capable of answering the question.

I spent at least 30 mins waiting to speak to BT last night,on the dot of 8 pm the line says we are now closed.Called moneysupermarket this morning and switched to Plusnet with £50 cash back and free BB for a year.A saving of over £200 this coming year, should have ditched BT long ago.I was going to keep my BT email address and called up to get premium mail but saw it is increasing from £1.60 to £5 per month so have left BT completely. No other company would survive with their atrocious service without having the monopoly they've got.
