where to send parents on holiday

hi, does any body have any idea where me and my siblings can send my parents on holiday? there quite young (47 and 55) but my mums not well and cant walk very far, so the place would have to not be too hilly and not to long a flight from the uk. a few christmas's ago we booked them a suprise holiday to malta which they loved but would like to send them some where else. parents are having a rough time at the moment with my mums health so we would love to book them somewhere in april for their wedding anniversary, (hotels which do something special for anniversarys would also be good). not too sure on the budget yet but since i have alot of brothers and sisters (my mum had 2 sets of twins!!) we would all chip in.
thanks

Hi, For a bargain go all inclusive to Ejypt or Tunisia. But have a loofk at cities closer to home. A few years ago we went to Paris, mainly because we were given a friends flat while they were away, my wife was in a wheelchair and everyone was very helpful and we had a great time. Most memorable was going up the Eiffel tower at night. We also had a great city break in Berlin, and another in Amsterdam, both easy for non-fit people and most people spoke good English. I think it would be better to arrange a holiday with things to see rather than be bored by the pool?

    croatia?

what did they like about malta? the weather in april may help yo decide as many places are not fully open- although easter being early will provide greater choice

Benidorm is nice and flat, loads to do in April, and a favourite with the older holdaymaker at that time of year. Plenty of hotels that do offers for special occasions.
However, people either love it or hate it.:rotfl:

Fuengirola is also flat, though will be pretty quiet in April.

Both only 2 hours from the UK.

Sharm el sheikh in Egypt would be lovely, but do your research as some of the hotels are set on hillsides - we went last month and had to climb 105 steps to the restaurant area ALTHOUGH we could have been picked up by a Shuttle bus each time! A lot of hotels do run shuttle buses for their guests so just check with the Tour Operators or email the hotels directly.

Also whereever you decide to send them check it out first on www.holidaywatchdog.com really interesting to see what others think about the hotel/area that you're going too!

Hope they have a lovely time:T

Amsterdam is very flat (obviously) and very relaxed and safe. Not too long a flight either/

Madeira is not very flat unless you are staying in the centre of Funchal
