    Sorry I tend to ramble and am not very clear.

    + The actual floor space is approx 3ft difference in width than the plans (and 1.5ft different to the other plot we we assured it was the same as).

    + The head height is also different, meaning more head space in the new property.


    Lincroft, I have seen on the sales sheet its a 'typical layout' of this style house and to 'refer to your sales rep' for correct specs. I guess the way of the developer getting out of any hot water and siting the blame on the sales staff. Though in fairness, shouldn't have lied to my face on several occasions.

    When I was in the VOA when measuring rooms or properties with sloping ceilings we would only measure that part which had headroom greater than 1.5 m (about 5 ft). So what's the difference between what you you expected and what you have if you ignore any part with less than 1.5m headroom?
