Daughter has upgraded her phone.

Old iPhone 4s now doing nothing. Other daughter doesn't want as it has a broken power button so it won't turn off.

I wondered if there is any way to use it as a Bluetooth receiver so I don't have to have a long wire from headphones to stereo.

I already have a usb Bluetooth receiver/transmitter which can connect to the input or output of the stereo.

The iPhone is running ios7, don't know if it can be upgraded.

Any help appreciated.

You can give a try however apple devices tend to be lacking in the area of bluetooth functions and what you can do with them
