had booked travel and 2nts hotel to see Flamin Groovies in Cardiff on April 26 but the gig's been cancelled. Wondering if I should stay home and recoup what I can or if it's worth a visit anyway?

If you have to pay for the hotel and travel anyway, it would be worth a visit I would have thought. We went for a couple of days to Cardiff from London and enjoyed it. We found it a small compact city to visit. We stayed at Cardiff Bay and visited the Dr Who exhibition, went for a boat trip around the bay, saw a show at the theatre there. We visited Cardiff Castle, the indoor market, museums and the bay had some nice places to eat.0 -
There's loads to do in Cardiff.
Do a tour of the Millennium Stadium, the Dr Who exhibition as said, wander the arcades and the castle.
Great choice of shops and eating places.Member #14 of SKI-ers club

I took my daughter to a concert at the Motorpoint Arena last November, I surprised at just how much there was in Cardiff. We only had enough time for a little shopping before catching the train home, it's a shoppers paradise, I'd say it's well worth a weekend break.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0
