Parking for Millwall FC

Hi all.

I am looking to drive to a football match at Millwall soon. Has anybody got any (sensible) suggestions for parking in the area or at a nearby railway station to give me access to South Bermondsey station please.

Thanks.
Going down the Oteley Road to see the Shrewsbury aces! :T

Maybe you could look at parking at a tube station outside of London and getting the tube in. If you are coming from Shrewsbury you will come down the M1 so could look at a big Car park like Stanmore which would be a 50 minute journey approx Jubillee line from there to London bridge and then pick up the train to South Bermondsey. Pay and display parking £5 weekdays, £2 sat and £1.50 Sunday. Use contactless bank card for travel. Similar journey time if you parked at Edgware tube station (has some off road parking near there and a shoppers car park,The Broadwalk Centre,by the station for £4 all day) Northern line tube train from there to Waterloo, change onto Jubillee line to London Bridge and pick up train to South Bermondsey.

Thanks susancs. I had looked at Stanmore but wasn't sure about anywhere closer.

You will be stuck in traffic, if you try for nearer parking. Time wise it is much quicker to park up at a tube or train station on the outskirts.
