Britannia Parking PCN West Quay

Hi there,
We have received a PCN today from Britannia Parking in the West Quay Southampton car park (the one outside Next etc). We had a bought a valid ticket but had failed to notice the ticket had slipped down between the dashboard and window so you could only just see the corner (you can actually see the corner of the ticket in the photographic evidence taken for the PCN).
The problem is there appears to be something wrong with the time stamps on the PCN. We bought the ticket at 11.30 AM for a 4 hour stay. The PCN was issued at 11.13 (after the car was observed from 10:40-11.12 as the car park has 30 mins free parking).
It therefore looks like we have bought the ticket AFTER the PCN was issued which is not the case.
I have no real proof to show we didn't get to the car park until 11.30 other than relying on the car park CCTV. Showing my proof of ticket does not support the times according to the PCN and just makes it look like I bought a ticket after the fine was issued.
Is there a way I can appeal this?
Thanks for all your advice.

there wont be any cctv on the car park that you can use
is this a postal notice or a windscreen notice ? (you did not say)
do you still have the paid for ticket ? (I hope so)
and read the NEWBIES sticky thread at the top of the forum , that tells you how to appeal, and also WHEN to appeal, depending on the pcn
it seems to me that somebody has not put their clock forward by one hour

Thanks RedX. It was a windscreen notice not postal. And yes this completely stacks up with the attendants hand held not being moved forward one hour. I still have the ticket.
Should I appeal on the grounds I stated below, and state that I believe the attendants hand held was not showing the time adjusted for daylight savings?
Thanks.0 -
as this is a BPA member , you need to wait until day 25 , then appeal as keeper , adding a copy of the ticket (keep the original safe) and add a note that as KEEPER you believe the evidential photos were taken on a handheld device that was still incorrectly set to GMT and not BST , whereas the ticket purchased by the DRIVER was bought on a machine correctly calibrated to BST , not GMT
mention that this potential fraud will be brought to the attention of the BPA, POPLA , and the judge in any court case and that you are aware that UKPC were under investigation for similar fraud
DO NOT GIVE AWAY who was driving
so appeal using the blue text template. plus a copy of the ticket, plus add what I said above
so in 25 days time , not now , so around april 21st
if appealing by post, get a free certificate of posting at the PO counter and keep that safe too0 -
Thanks again for your advice RedX.0
