Mobile phone insurance

When my husband and I took out contracts on new mobile phones, we were given a hard sell to take out insurance against the loss or damage of these phones. This is costing us an extra £29 a month, but I have recently been told that this is covered by our house insurance. Do we have a claim from the phone company to get a refund of this unnecessary insurance? :A
