Not all apps will run from an sd card and will not therefore copy across. It is a case of going to each one individually and seeing if the copy option is greyed out or not.
The phone has only got 8GB of internal storage and reviews show that quite a chunk of that is taken up with Sony junkware which you may not be able to remove very easily.0 -
If the junkware is taking up to much of the internal memory - and 8GB isnt a lot to start with these days - you may need to look at rooting the phone to be able to remove it or move it to the external SD.0

I have the same problem with my Xperia M2, too much junk.
The camera screen is also badly scratched, so now blurd photos.
I will not get Sony next time.

Are you trying to transfer existing app to the card, or download a new app directly to the card ? It may be that it has to first download to internal store and then transfer to sd card, so you need enough internal store free temporarily. Clearing caches might help.0 -

My friend had the Xperia M2 and after around 10 months the touchscreen failed completely.
Not one manufacturer is perfect (I've had a defective iPhone etc) but it put me off buying a Sony handset. It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0
