Hi which platform would you get GTA V on?

I have a PS2 with San Andreas that I loved and even completed 100%.

Now I haven't played it for years but have a desire to play GTA V and am swaying towards Playstation again instead of Microsoft Xbox or PC.

Think I will sell the PS2 but which console is best, I'm guessing the PS4 is best.
PC - because it has a lot more possebilities.

PS4, if only for the cool stuff relating to the joypad (lightbar flashing red/blue when being police are after you, mobile phone calls coming through the pad's speaker).

The PS4 consistently outperforms the XB1 on multi platform titles due to a superior GPU and DDR5 memory, however I believe from memory that GTA V is one of the titles where the difference is nominal.

Buy whichever console's exclusives suit you best or the platform where most of your friends play. Soundest advice.

PC. Like the fact I can play it on my phone when in bed too.

I would love to be able to afford the PS4, I am waiting until they get cheaper, still with the PS3 :( But San Andreas is a classic, such a good game!

I don't think they've ever managed to better San Andreas as the map was colossal and there was just such a ridiculous amount to do, I also liked the simple stuff like your character changing shape depending on how much food he was given and how much he'd sprinted.

You can get GTA V on the PS3 - it's not much different to the PS4 version. Probably pick it up cheap too.

If it is literally for one game then get the PS3, then if you really like it you can go back to GTA IV though it isn't nearly as good IMO.

I've not looked in to it but I doubt you'd get a lot for a PS2 now. You might be better served holding on to it and selling it when they're a bit harder to come by.

    Quick comparison pic.

PS4 seems to have more birds, mind you. ;)

PC is by far the best, the consoles no matter if last or current gen have a 30fps lock most noticable on last gen where theres quite a few drops to around 20 and they don't look as good.

And the PS3/Xbox 360 versions are so demanding the fans are at full spin and consoles burning hot, I remember using mine with glass cabinet doors closed and it kept shutting down due to overheat and with open and next to extractor fan in wall still ran loud and burning hot (not a dirt/old hardware problem just that demanding)

I can play V on a weak pc, though its only a few years old.
