My broker is due to apply for a help to buy mortgage though nationwide this coming week, I read something about big problems at the moment, should nationwide be avoided?

I submitted a case to them on the 17th, they came back on the 21st and 23rd asking for something else. 4 working days to get 2 lots of underwriters (they have 1 underwriter for payslips and another for bank statements) is pretty good?
Valuation was also instructed straight away, although it will not be carried out until the 1st April, but thats the surveyors delays not nationwides.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. On the newbuild broker side we are not suffering the kinds of issues others are seeing.
We are still getting offers out within two weeks, subject to surveyor availability in the area of the property.I am a mortgage broker. I'm currently applying for a HTB mortgage with Nationwide. They have been efficient to say the least.
Applied for Mortgage: 16/03/2016
Valuation booked for: 22/03/2016
They asked for proof of address on 21st which has been provided now.
Hopefully should get offer soon.0 -
I have to say, i submitted my application a week ago and have heard absolutely nothing from Nationwide. Broker is telling me that Nationwide is telling him that there are delays.0
