When did you stay there?
We were there October 2014 and it was just finishing all being redone, and it was lovely. Absolutely spotless, large spacious room, lovely staff. Couldn't fault it at all
We were there April 2013 , it put me off Travelodge for life. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Depends where in London you're staying.
We're staying in London in May bank holiday next to the Excel Centre for 4 nights in a Travelodge for £160.0 -
There are some good saver rates for the Premier Inn Watford Central currently Friday 15 and Sat 16 July it would be £75 in total for a double room for the two nights and same rate for the following weekend. 20 min walk to Watford junction station for the shuttle bus. You also have a Wetherspoons pub in the High Street (on way to station) for cheap breakfasts.

We stayed at this Premier Inn when we did the Harry Potter Studio tour a couple of years ago. If memory serves me correctly, there is a big Tesco opposite. It is a nice Premier Inn (I don't like Travelodge at all) and we also had the breakfast. It worked out cheaper having breakfast there as we had 2 children with us and they ate free. We walked to Watford Junction and got the HP bus to and from the studios.
We travelled into London for a day also. No problems at all. We left our bag at the Transport Museum as we had an annual ticket there. We returned to Kings Cross in the evening for our return journey to the North East. It was a great trip!Interest rate 1.25%, offset mortgage Woolwich0 -
We spent a weekend in london last year and stayed in the travelodge in watford. Was only 15 mins on the fast train to london, was 5 mins walk to watford junction from hotel. Were planning on taking the kids for the weekend in oct and staying at watford again, but this time thinking of the holiday inn express right next to watford junction.0
