35% stocks isa and 65% cash, total 125k.
i have that much in cash as i fixed it all at good rates (2.3% to 2.8%). a big chunk (£50k) cash isa gonna expire in 2 months so will put that into s&s - hoping for a market correction in stocks...0 -

Nothing is guaranteed in S&S ISA, but what is practically guaranteed is that over the long-term S&S will outperform cash ISAs."If you aren’t willing to own a stock for ten years, don’t even think about owning it for ten minutes” Warren Buffett

I echo the other comments. Cash ISAs are not worth having at all and I have less than 1% in a cash ISA (HSBC Save Together, which will be transferred out of cash into an Iffy ISA when that comes to an end).
You should probably think about transferring some into S&S and perhaps a bit into P2P, then using a flexible cash ISA to withdraw anything left and spread it around some higher paying current accounts (putting it back for a day or two at the end of each tax year to preserve its status).0 -
eco i ddint make it clear i dont mug punt im a matched better ha ha, around 30k in 8 years..0

Cash ISA 0%
S&S ISA approx 95%
Current accounts around 5%
I'm guessing you don't understand investments with a comment like that, a S&S ISA is just a wrapper than can hold many different investment types. Nothing guaranteed but balanced portfolio should beat inflation long term. If a balanced investment portfolio isn't beating inflation over the long term then you've got more to worry about than money as it means all companies are failing. Even with all the ups and downs over the years I'm still massively ahead of where I'd be with cash.banksofthe_mersey wrote: »s and s way too risky for me, whats actually gauranteed with these?Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
100% S&S for me0

100% cash for me!... soon to become 0% cash as I dripfeed it into a pair of HTB ISAs starting next month. I'm hoping to buy a house in the next 4-5 years so can't justify putting a big chunk of money into anything illiquid or variable.: )0

70% s&s 30% cash, the cash will be getting moved into a innovative finance ISA along with most of next years ISA allowance.0

Cash - Regular saver, Savings, Current Accounts,
Index Link bond, Premium Bonds
That's about 8%
Cash ISA 0.000% - last transferred to S&S ISA 2yrs ago.
S&S 39%, S&S ISA 32%, Pensions 21%0 -
I still hold my cash ISA purely because I may need to use it to return a loan at short notice and also if I am able to raise the cash to return the loan out of the cash ISA, i can then use it to fund my S&S ISA. Keep hold of the cash ISA for flexibility to decide how you want to use it but once you have decided, move it!
