I recently opened a Next Account but the don't ask how much you earn. How an earth do they decide if you can afford a credit account if they have no idea of your income?

Yes mine started at that, but it is £5K now - although I rarely buy off them.0

It just seems strange they don't ask how much you earn?
Imagine owing next £5k how depressing :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Credit limit has jumped from £300 to £1500 on the second statement! Crazy or what?!?0

I'm hoping just hoping that the customer will keep track of what they have bought and the cost and read the finer details. If they don't keep a track of it and it hits 5k without realising it has then they only have themselves to blame.0
