Cardio V Weights

First off, you can't out train a bad diet. If by weight loss, you mean losing fat then the first place to start is the supermarket & kitchen.
In answer to your question, both cardio and weight training have their merits for fat loss. You haven't really said what your goals are, or what your current exercise is.
I'm new so can't post links, but if you Google "T-Nation The Best Damn Cardio Article Period" that will be a good place to start.
The best form of exercise though is one that you enjoy. It sounds like that isn't the case if it is leaving you exhausted all the time, and looks as if you are looking for a way out. Maybe look at local sports teams, or classes etc. near you. Try a few different activities and hopefully you'll find one you love. Endless running on the streets bores me to tears, but I love running around a rugby pitch!0 -
I once read in my Mens Health magazine that "abs are made in the kitchen".
It stuck with me and now, as my diet has improved, I agree with it.
MyFitnessPal proves a great free app to truly show what you're intake of food and drink is. We often forget or dismiss the odd cheeky biscuit we may have at work, but it adds up.
The inner argument I have with myself is contradictory to the above and says, "go on....have that doughnut...you know they're delish".0 -
5 days a week of pure cardio does seem quite a lot (unless its only light cardio, or for less than an hour each time)0
