Hi folks
I have completed a few 0% c/c balance tranfers offers on to my bank mastercard, however this time i have been charged a 1.5% fee for "Cash Advance Fee"
Have i a case to reclaim this charge?
1. bank never did this charge before
2. the transfer from my bank mastercard to my account was completed online
3. my bank mastercard was never in the red

No case at all
The bank you transfered it from must have put the merchant identification code as a cash type transaction and this is why you have been charged it
Perfectly legit and your only recourse would be to complain to the transfering code about the fact they processed it as a cash type transaction0 -
Well I decided to phone my bank.
Told them i had never had any fees for transfering my funds from my Mastercard to my current acount before (which is true) so they are refunding me! But they did warn me, the next time there will be a 1.5% fee!
